®PEKASOL FG is a colorless and odorless heat transfer fluid based on non-toxic and environmentally friendly monopropylene glycol, specially developed for the food industry and all applications where food-grade quality is required. The inhibitors reliably protect all materials commonly used in system construction against sludge formation and corrosion. ®PEKASOL FG is NSF HT1 certified in various ready-to-use dilutions and is exclusively offered by us in these concentrations. All ingredients are listed and approved as food additives by the FDA. In the event of an incident, contamination of food products with the antifreeze is harmless and health risks from accidental ingestion are excluded. ®PEKASOL FG is free of nitrites, amines, borates, silicates and nitrates.

®PEKASOL FG is an NSF-certified heat transfer fluid based on propylene glycol, specially developed for processes in the food production and processing industry. ®PEKASOL FG is suitable for applications such as heating systems or cooling systems where food-grade quality is required.
®PEKASOL FG can be used in food production and processing (process heating, process cooling) as well as in heating systems or cooling systems and in all applications where food-grade quality is required. Depending on the concentration, operating temperatures from -40°C up to +120°C are possible. The high-quality inhibitors reliably protect all materials commonly used in system construction against sludge formation and corrosion.
The NSF has certified the concentrate as well as the ready-made mixtures specified in the dilution table of ®PEKASOL FG. Every ready-to-fill dilution supplied by pro KÜHLSOLE complies with NSF approval. Each individual concentration has a separate registration number, which can also be found on the NSF website at www.nsfwhitebook.org by entering the company name pro KÜHLSOLE or the product name PEKASOL.
We recommend flushing all systems or installations before filling. In all newly constructed systems where steel is used, flushing is essential to remove flash rust, metal shavings and other debris.
Flushing with an 8-10% PEX FG cleaning solution optimally prepares your system for use with ®PEKASOL FG. The flushing solution can be disposed of via the drain.
®PEKASOL FG and all dilutions have good storage stability. They should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place and direct sunlight should be avoided.
®PEKASOL FG dilutions do not separate, even after extended storage periods.
®PEKASOL FG should not be mixed with products from other manufacturers. This, as well as diluting with water on site, would void the NSF certificate for this application. Mixing with our ®PEKASOL L is also not recommended, as this may impair the corrosion protection.
Systems filled with PEKASOL® FG should only be topped up with the appropriate ready-to-fill ®PEKASOL FG dilution. Please contact us if you have any questions.
®PEKASOL FG is available in canisters of 10, 20, 30 or 60 liters, in 220 liter drums, in 1,000 liter IBC (containers) or by road tanker up to 24 t.
