®PEKASOL L is a colorless and odorless liquid on basisof propylene glycol for the use as heat carrier with highly effective anti-corrosion additives and hardnessstabilizers. ®PEKASOL L does not contain nitrite, amine, phosphate, borate, silicate and nitrate.

Product characteristics
®PEKASOL L is used as an antifreeze and corrosion protection medium in food production and technical areas, such as heating and cooling systems, heat pumps, food refrigeration. The inhibitor system reliably protects all commonly used metallic materials against corrosion and deposits.
®PEKASOL L is miscible with water in any ratio. A concentration of 20 vol.% should not be undercut, otherwise corrosion protection is no longer guaranteed. ®PEKASOL L should only be diluted with water up to a hardness of 20°dH. Ideally, deionized water is used. All ready-to-use ®PEKASOL L dilutions supplied by pro KÜHLSOLE are prepared exclusively with deionized water to ensure optimal heat transfer fluid quality. ®PEKASOL L is suitable as a corrosion and frost protection additive according to VDI guideline 2035. Upon request, we supply any dilution you require in the specified packaging units.

®PEKASOL L is a heat transfer fluid and antifreeze based on propylene glycol, specially developed for use in closed cooling and heating systems. It reliably protects against frost, corrosion and deposits, and is particularly suitable for applications requiring a non-toxic solution – for example, where contact with food is unlikely but still possible.
®PEKASOL L is generally not used as a concentrate, but as an aqueous dilution. The frost protection level can be determined by the proportion of water added. For example, for pure frost protection we recommend a ®PEKASOL L content of 39 vol.%, which corresponds to a frost protection of -20°C. At the specified temperature, the first ice crystals form and a so-called ice slush develops. The solution should not be cooled further. In general, a concentration of 20 vol.% should not be undercut, as corrosion protection can no longer be guaranteed.
®PEKASOL L should be disposed of properly in accordance with legal regulations. Please contact your local waste disposal company for proper disposal of the used coolant. When refilling your system, we can assist you with the disposal of the old coolant. We provide suitable empty containers to collect the coolant and can help you select the right disposal company if needed.
®PEKASOL L and all dilutions have good storage stability. They should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place and direct sunlight should be avoided.
®PEKASOL L dilutions do not separate, even after extended storage periods.
®PEKASOL L is miscible with most common antifreeze products based on propylene glycol. ®PEKASOL L must not be mixed with antifreeze products that are not based on propylene glycol, such as monoethylene glycol products or salt solutions. Please contact us if you have any questions.
®PEKASOL L is available in canisters of 10, 20, 30 or 60 liters, in 220 liter drums, in 1,000 liter IBC (containers) or by road tanker up to 24 t.
